UAE based James Murray, is an international DJ having showcased his talents for major brands, including Ministry of Sound and Pacha.

James boasts a wealth of experience. He was hand picked to be an Official Ministry of Sound Tour DJ, and represented the brand from 2010 – 2012. He has performed worldwide at countless beach and outdoor festivals in Brazil, Mexico, Russia, India and Europe. In fact, he has headlined at a number of European super clubs, including Cocoon Club, Frankfurt and Pacha, Munich. In early 2012, James was asked to mix the first ever Ministry of Sound Live Series album, showcasing the sounds rocking the Ministry of Sound tours worldwide, entitled “Brazil Live”.

During his time at Ministry of Sound, James also played for major dance brands Hed Kandi, Toolroom Knights, Kinky Malinki, Housexy and Clubbers Guide. In 2013 James took up a residency for Pacha London, which he held until he made his move over to the UAE.

James is also a music producer, having worked with a number of high profile artists in the UK.  His debut EP, “Back to the Future” signed to Whartone Records, charted on a number of download sites. James followed this up with a remake of the Beastie Boys classic “Intergalactic” entitled “Lost in Space”, released on Floorplay Records. This also charted well and featured on a number of commercial radio stations across the UK including BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and Kiss FM. He has continued to have his music released on major dance labels and works as a ghost producer for other artists.
